What if design could use lines and shadows to fool people’s eyes? What if optical illusions could give new products more functions and make them more meaningful, playful, simple and pure in daily lives ? They would create artful illusions, rather than faulty or fantasy illusions. Following this concept, the Myth Table is designed along with a collection of products, using two-dimensional lines to build a three-dimensional vision on the surface. As time passes, from sunrise to sunset, shadows appear and forms change, creating a four-dimensional sensation. The Myth Table, a part of the MYTH COLLECTION , tries to use the purest design language direction of lines on transparent plane. When people walk around the Myth Collection, they see lines at different levels crossing each other on different planes. The Myth Collection tries to encourage people to use their own vision and experience to focus on pure possibilities in their daily lives.
